‘Time To Be Moved On’ ‘Grade 0/10’ Arsenal Fans On Twitter Criticise £180k A Week Star’s Display Against Leicester

Although he was certainly not the only player to play badly yesterday, Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan put in another poor display against Leicester.

Fans praised the Armenian earlier this year after a run of good form, but the midfielder’s performances in recent games have been difficult to watch.

Supporters on Twitter don’t believe Mkhitaryan has a future at the Emirates beyond the end of the season:

The 30-year-old, who is on £180,000 a week, according to Spotrac, has not scored or provided an assist since his excellent display in the 5-1 home win against Bournemouth back in late February.

Like of lot of Arsenal’s players, his form has fallen off a cliff in recent weeks, with the Gunners now enduring a run of four defeats in their last five Premier League games putting their top four hopes in severe jeopardy.

Mkhitaryan started all of those matches, with the exception of the Crystal Palace defeat, and the team have scored just three goals during that period.
