Tierney, Holding And Saka To Start: Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Manchester United

Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney did not feature for the Under 23s on Saturday so the Scottish international looks to be in line for his first league start against Manchester United.

Hector Bellerin played the full 90 minutes versus Liverpool’s U23s yesterday and it suggests that the Spaniard won’t feature at Old Trafford. It means either Ainsley Maitland-Niles or Calum Chambers will start at right-back on Monday night.

Chambers’ three assists against Nottingham Forest may see him given the nod ahead of Maitland-Niles who has returned after his one-match suspension.

In the centre of defence, Rob Holding could come in for Sokratis with the 24-year-old having looked assured and composed versus Forest

Manager Unai Emery is likely to keep faith with Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi in midfield with Dani Ceballos in a more advanced role. Mesut Ozil may have to settle for a place on the bench once again.

Bukayo Saka did not start in the Carabao Cup, which may indicate that he has moved ahead of Reiss Nelson in the pecking order. The 18-year-old could line up alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe up front.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Manchester United:

Leno, Chambers, Holding, Luiz, Tierney, Guendouzi, Ceballos, Xhaka, Pepe, Aubameyang, Saka
