Tierney And Pepe To Start, Kolasinac And Willock Dropped: Arsenal’s Predicted Line Up To Face Brighton

Arsenal interim head coach Freddie Ljungberg will be hoping for an improved performance against Brighton following an unconvincing start to his spell in charge versus Norwich.

Kieran Tierney was surprisingly omitted from the starting eleven at Carrow Road on Saturday, but the Scottish international could come back into the line up ahead of Sead Kolasinac when the Gunners face the Seagulls.

Calum Chambers is likely to keep his place at right-back with Hector Bellerin still recovering from a tight hamstring. Rob Holding’s knee injury may mean that Ljungberg keeps faith with Shkodran Mustafi alongside David Luiz. The German appears to be ahead of Sokratis in the pecking order under the new regime.

In midfield, Lucas Torreira could well come in for Matteo Guendouzi who has not been at his best recently, with Granit Xhaka keeping his place in the first eleven.

Nicolas Pepe may get his chance to impress Ljungberg with Joe Willock making way, despite a good display against Norwich. Ozil could move centrally with the Ivorian and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang taking their places on the wings.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton:

Leno, Chambers, Mustafi, Luiz, Tierney, Torreira, Ozil, Xhaka, Pepe, Lacazette, Aubameyang
