Tiermey And Partey To Start, Odegaard And Bellerin On The Bench: Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face United

Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Southampton during the week should give them confidence going into a tricky encounter against Manchester United tomorrow.

Manager Mikel Arteta is sweating over the fitness of a few key players ahead of the match at the Emirates but it’s hoped that Kieran Tierney will be available. The Scot could line up at left-back with Cedric moving to the right flank and Hector Bellerin missing out. Rob Holding and David Luiz are expected to line up in the centre of defence.

In midfield, Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe are also doubts but Arteta will be hoping to partner the pair with Granit Xhaka. New signing Martin Odegaard is only likely to make the bench.

Up front, captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s continued absence due to personal issues means the trio of Bukayo Saka, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe could be employed for the second game in a row.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Manchester United:

Leno, Cedric, Holding, Luiz, Tierney, Partey, Smith Rowe, Xhaka, Pepe, Lacazette, Saka
