Three New Players Added To Wenger’s Rumored Transfer List

Wenger is going to have to make some tough decisions by the end of the year as Arsenal hope to claim the Premier League trophy. In order to do so they will either have to recover the vast majority of their injured players or bring in new footballers to carry the club to glory. The problem is that Winter is not the best time to make a transfer. Usually important deals are done during the summer which might be too late for the Gunners who have a real chance at the title this season.

There are some players who even though are not in the spotlight, might shine if transferred to Emirates.

The first is Yann M’Vila who is just getting acquainted with the Premier League. Currently on loan with Sunderland, the Frenchman made 16 appearances in the UK and is looking promising especially after his failed Inter experience. The problem with his transfer would be the fact that he is already engaged in a 1 year deal with Sunderland who will probably not cut the contract short. Trying to sign him in January would be worth a shot.

The second player on the list comes highly recommended. Robert Pires insists that Arsenal needs to sign Southampton’s Victor Wanyama. The 24-year-old defensive midfielder has grown immensely since moving away from Celtic and is one of the most interesting players out there. He is under contract until 2017 and has not been offered an extension yet. If Arsenal get to first place by the end of December, he might be tempted to start negotiations.

The last player on the list is Mauro Icardi. Not sure why this rumor emerged as Arsenal need a midfielder rather than a striker to compete with Giroud who is in great form. Even so, this Argentinian would be a good addition to the team mostly because of his playing style which is similar to that of Alexis Sanchez in terms of determination.
