Three Moves That Can Happen This Summer

Arsenal have invested money in new players but not as much as expected. The Gunners definitely have the financial ability to spend a lot more and there`s no reason for that not to happen. Spending more does not necessarily mean buying a £100million player (although it would be amazing). It also means in investing in numbers. Looking at all the manager’s inactivity, Wenger probably looks like the guy who knows what value for money is. We’ve talked about the Frenchman’s excellent low-end transfers that turned into some of the best moves on the market so why not put all your trust in him? If Wenger did not feel that he needed to sign anyone aside from Cech last summer, why not give him credit? To be honest, if the medical staff did a better job, Arsenal would have a pretty complete lot with substitutes included. Moving forward to the next transfer window, there are three rumors that sound right for Arsenal and that could actually become true.

  1. N’Golo Kante – this 24-year-old is to the midfield what Sanchez is to the attack in terms of giving it his all. Kante is everywhere at all times. He has an incredible capacity for effort and he even has skill as seen against Arsenal. He is affordable and he would bring a lot to the table if used to replace Flamini or Arteta. He looks like the perfect player to transfer during this particular moment. If Arsenal win the Premier League, it will not be that hard to bring in the Frenchman who according to Squawka, has been on Wenger’s radar since the beginning of the season.
  2. Havard Nordtveit – since leaving Arsenal’s U21 team for Borussia Mönchengladbach, this 25-year-old Norwegian international has grown considerably. It`s not known yet if he does have a buy-back clause, even though that`s farfetched considering he left in 2011. Regardless, he looks like a decent investment and also like a decent substitute to have around just in case.
  3. Debuchy to Manchester United – the Frenchman is quite unhappy with his situation and would like to leave as soon as possible given the fact that he got little to no time on the pitch during a season that should have sent him to the European Championship. Because of that Wenger is very likely to agree to sell in June as the player’s attitude is not looking to get better with time but whether United fancy him remains to be seen.
