Three Clubs Lining Up Offers For Wantaway Arsenal Star Who Arteta Is Desperate To Keep

Brighton, Crystal Palace and Bayer Leverkusen are all interested in signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah, according to reports in the English media.

The 22-year-old’s contract at the Emirates expires at the end of the season, but manager Mikel Arteta says he would like to see the forward stay at the club.

However, Nketiah is intent on leaving, having already turned down a number of proposals from the Gunners to extend his current deal. The former England Under 21 international is frustrated by a lack of game time and is keen to find regular football elsewhere.

He can already sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs, like Leverkusen, if he so wishes but a departure before the January transfer window closes has also not been ruled out.

Both Brighton and Palace are reportedly open to making an offer this month, although it remains to be seen whether they will table bids that Arsenal deem acceptable.
