Danilo Pereira

An important part of both player’s game is their ability to recognise danger and protect their defences. In this area, Partey comes out on top. According to Sofascore, the Ghanaian averages 1.4 interceptions per game and 2.0 tackles.

Danilo, in contrast, only manages 1.1 interceptions and 1.4 tackles. It must be pointed out, though, that the Portuguese is less likely to be dribbled past, and is actually better at retrieving possession.
