Following Porto captain Danilo Pereira’s ‘come and get me’ plea to Arsenal yesterday, it will be interesting to see whether the Gunners will be tempted to make a move for the Portuguese international.

It is thought that the 28-year-old would cost around €30m less than Thomas Partey, who is believed to be the Gunners’ number one transfer target this summer.

So would Arsenal be getting a lesser player if they eventually chose to sign Danilo instead of the Atletico Madrid midfielder?
