Arsenal centre-back Calum Chambers could miss the rest of the season with a knee injury, according to reports in the English media. The 24-year-old was substituted in the first half against Chelsea on Sunday and there are growing fears that he has suffered damage to his anterior cruciate ligament.
If the reports turn out to be accurate, it would mean the Gunners have lost one of their best performing defenders this campaign, and fans on Twitter are extremely frustrated with the news:
This team is cursed.

There have been claims that Arsenal are already trying to recall William Saliba from his loan spell at Saint-Etienne to shore up their numbers at the back, but the French club are not believed to be obligated to agree to the request.
It means signing a new centre-back in the January transfer window is likely a top priority, with a bid for RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano said to be on the cards.
