‘This Is Massive’ ‘The Guy’s A Beast’ ‘Proper Machine’ Fans Happy With Latest Arsenal Injury Update

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has been pictured back in light training as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.

The club’s medical department expect the Swiss international to be back in action by January but fans on Twitter firmly believe he will return much earlier than that:

Xhaka sustained a medial ligament tear in the 3-1 win over Tottenham in the North London derby back in September and at the time it was feared he could be out for a lot longer than a few months.

Manager Mikel Arteta says he knows Xhaka would put in the extra work to return sooner than expected and it appears he is ahead of schedule in his rehab.

Running outside is a long way from full-contact training with his teammates, though, so you would assume there is at least another four to six weeks to go before he is available for selection again.
