Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey will be fit to face Liverpool this weekend, the club have confirmed.
The Ghanaian international was a doubt for the match on Saturday after struggling to overcome a groin injury but, after the news broke about his availability, fans on Twitter reacted very positively:

Whether Partey will be fit enough to play the full 90 minutes against the Reds, we shall have to wait and see. The 28-year-old’s last appearance for the club was against Leicester last month so it will be exactly three weeks since he has played competitively.
His return will, though, be a big boost to the Gunners’ chances of securing a big result. In contrast, Liverpool are sweating over the fitness of a number of players, including captain Jordan Henderson and Andy Robertson.
It won’t be an easy game, by any means, but this could well be Arsenal’s best opportunity to get a victory at Anfield for many years.
