Arsenal are keen on signing West Ham winger Felipe Anderson, according to reports in the English media. It is believed that head coach Mikel Arteta is a fan of the Brazilian and would like to bring the playmaker to the Emirates.
There have been claims of the Gunners’ interest in the 27-year-old over the past few weeks but supporters on Twitter don’t believe there is any foundation to the rumours:
This is banter surely

i don’t want him but Anderson is a pretty good winger. Arteta would probably be able to get more out of him then Pellegrini and Moyes did

Anderson’s agent is Kia Joorabchian so some may have put two and two together but it would be a big surprise if Arsenal were in the market for a player like the Hammers midfielder.
They have already snapped up Willian on a free transfer from Chelsea this summer, and they are not lacking depth in the final third, with the likes of Bukayo Saka and Nicolas Pepe also good options on the wings.
It may well be that Anderson was considered before Willian’s arrival and the interest has only become more widely known now.
