‘This Guy Reminds Me Of Ronaldo’ ‘The Future Is Bright’ ‘Looks A Real Player’ Fans Excited After Arsenal Ace Lights Up Carabao Cup Win

Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli scored a double as the Gunners came out 5-0 winners against Nottingham Forest in their Carabao Cup tie last night.

The Brazilian scored with a superb header from a Calum Chambers cross to open the scoring midway through the first half. He then sealed the win in injury time with an excellent curling effort from outside the box.

Martinelli’s brace has certainly got fans talking on Twitter, with many believing the 18-year-old has huge potential:

The £7m that Arsenal paid Ituano for the teenager back in July already looks money well spent, but it remains to be seen how much game time he will get in league matches.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe are almost guaranteed starters, and while there could be an opening with Alexandre Lacazette out injured, the likes of Reiss Nelson and Bukayo Saka will also be competing for a spot in the starting eleven.
