“Think Carefully…” Bundesliga Duo Warned That They May Live To Regret Leaving Club To Join Arsenal

Ex-Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Dragoslav Stepanovic has told the likes of Evan Ndicka and Jesper Lindstrom to “think carefully” about whether they are ready to leave the Bundesliga club.

Both players have been heavily linked with Arsenal in recent months and, when asked about the prospect of top talents leaving Deutsche Bank Park, Stepanovic said:

“It doesn’t matter where you go as a top Eintracht player. You have to fight for everything anew. A well-functioning team lifts every single player higher. That leads many to believe that they are better than they really are. Think carefully about when you’re really ready to switch to a bigger club.”

Ndicka has been a long-term target for the Gunners and, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, he could well make the switch to the Emirates next summer.

Lindstrom, meanwhile, is more likely to be an option that manager Mikel Arteta is considering ahead of the January transfer window.

So far this campaign, the Danish international has scored eight goals in 22 appearances, and his ability to play multiple positions across the frontline would make him a good fit to strengthen Arsenal’s attack.

We shall have to wait and see whether the London club do actually pursue either Ndicka or Lindstrom in the New Year.
