Dani Ceballos’s return to Real Madrid means a new midfielder will be needed to provide competition for the likes of Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka. There are thought to be two options being looked at.
The more expensive target is Brighton’s Yves Bissouma, with the Seagulls expecting to get £40m for the Malian international. The player is also interesting Liverpool and Manchester United. A cheaper alternative has been identified in Rangers’ Glen Kamara, with the former Arsenal academy graduate said to be available for around £10m.
