Arsenal’s first-half performance against Tottenham yesterday was top-drawer and manager Mikel Arteta should be delighted with how his players executed the game plan.

Spurs simply couldn’t cope with the speed and the intensity of the Gunners and it should be used as the benchmark for displays going forward over the coming weeks and months.
