Borna Sosa (Stuttgart)
The Croatian is arguably more of a wingback than a fullback but Arteta will focus on the attacking qualities in his targets to replace Tierney.
Sosa is right up there when it comes to assists (nine in the Bundesliga) and progressive passes (5.65 per 90).
However, the 25-year-old is weak in terms of pass completion (73.6% compared to Zinchenko’s 86.4%)
A lot of that is likely down to Sosa’s tendency to cross the ball, which does come with its benefits. He has averaged 4.97 shot-creating actions this season, which puts him in the top 1% of all fullbacks in Europe over the past year.
