1) Tomiyasu looks like a player
You have to bear in mind that the Japanese international had had just two training sessions with his new teammates before being thrown into his debut by Arteta.
If you take that into consideration, Tomiyasu’s solid performance looks all the more impressive. He was commanding in the air, stayed back when needed but also offered something in the final third. A very promising first outing.
