The 24-year-old has not been at his best defensively recently and that lack of confidence has seemingly spread to his passing, as he struggled to inject any pace into the game against Brighton.
White’s main focus at St Mary’s will be to ensure his team are harder to beat at the back. Armando Broja is a handful for any centre-back so the Gunners need their £50m summer signing back on form.
