The save from James Maddison’s freekick last Saturday has been praised from all quarters. Arteta was, however, keen to press home the point after the game that Ramsdale has to keep up this level of consistency to remain number one.
At 23 years of age, he is still learning as a goalkeeper but his performance in the Leicester game shows he can be relied upon to come up with the goods when required.
