Tammy Abraham’s Transfer Stance Revealed As Arsenal ‘Ready’ 50M Bid For Ex Chelsea Forward

Roma forward Tammy Abraham is “happy” in Italy but would not be “averse to returning to London” if Arsenal make an offer to sign him this summer, according to the Daily Star.

The English tabloid reports that the Gunners are ready to revive their interest in the England international, who only moved to Roma from Chelsea for £34m last year.

Abraham has been in excellent form since making the switch to the Giallorossi, bagging 24 goals and providing five assists in all competitions. It has led to some speculation that a return to Chelsea was on the cards.

However, while the Blues do have a buyback option on the striker, it only comes into effect at the end of the 2022/23 season so Arsenal would have a free run if they do table a bid in the coming months.

The Daily Star claim the London club are “ready” to pay around £50m for Abraham, but it remains to be seen whether that will be enough. Reports in Italy in recent weeks have suggested that Roma may hold out for around £100m.
