Arsenal have held talks with Napoli about signing right-back Kevin Malcuit, according to reports in France.
The fullback is likely to be cover for Hector Bellerin with the Spaniard having been sidelined for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Fans on Twitter think a move for Malcuit would be a good piece of business:
I’ll take him ASAP. But i doubt if Arsenal will want to do a real deal for him

But many supporters believe the Gunners won’t be able to recruit him on loan:
Hmm.. Too late to do business imo.

If he is so good then he ain’t coming. Napoli will be silly to let him leave

Malcuit has usurped Elseid Hysaj as first choice right-back in the last three Serie A fixtures, and he seems to be in favour under manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Considering the Frenchman only joined from Lille in August, it would be very surprising if Napoli opted to loan him after six months.
The promise of being in the starting eleven every week at a Premier League club could sway the player, but agreeing a deal with the Partenopei is another matter entirely.
