Inter Milan are interested in signing Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Serie A champions are keen on signing a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who appears to have fallen out with head coach Simone Inzaghi due to a lack of playing time.
Lacazette is out of contract in the summer, and the Gunners would likely cash in when the transfer window opens to prevent him from leaving for nothing next year. Considering manager Mikel Arteta has not afforded Lacazette a great deal of game time in recent weeks, it does seem as though the 30-year-old will be leaving Arsenal, either in January or at the end of the season. It will be interesting to see what sort of offer Inter make if they go ahead with a formal approach in the New Year.
