Real Madrid have reportedly decided to keep Luka Jovic this summer. The Serbian striker had been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham but it seems he will be staying at the Bernabeu.
Gunners fans on Twitter are not that disappointed that the club may have missed out on the 22-year-old as they think it may help Arsenal keep captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang:
Surely means they won’t go for Auba..?

Good one club that’s not interested in auba

So Auba is not going to Real Madrid for sure.

Auba goes nowhere til he’s 40

Other supporters simply believe that the Gunners will just move on to other targets:
Doesn’t matter we should get Malen or Boadu

Aubameyang has been heavily linked with Real Madrid so their apparent decision to keep Jovic will certainly dampen speculation that he’ll be moving to Spain.
However, the Gabonese international has yet to sign a new contract, and while Real may not be a likely destination at the moment, there are a number of other teams who may try their luck when the transfer window reopens.
Inter Milan, Barcelona, as well as the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea, are reported to be interested in the forward so fans should not be getting their hopes up quite yet that Aubameyang will be staying put.
