Suarez Says He Is Happy In Liverpool And Will Stay

Luis Suarez would be one of the most amazing transfers Arsenal could ever pull off during the winter transfer period or at anytime at all. The Uruguayan has had two very impressive seasons in the Premier League with some ups and downs it has to be said. Regardless of his odd behavior and his outrageous reactions on the pitch, he still remains one of the most talented strikers in the world and perhaps the one in the best form at the moment. He is one of the few players of his profile who is in top shape. He has proven deadly in front of goal on numerous occasions which is exactly what you expect from a forward. Wenger had high hopes he could steal Suarez from Liverpool after he received the longest suspension in Premier League history because of the Ivanovic incident but Liverpool made it clear they would not sell him.

Unfortunately for Arsenal, who are generally using Giroud as their sole option in front of goal, Suarez remained faithful to Liverpool. With the January transfer window just around the corner, rumors have started again linking the Uruguayan to a possible Emirates move. However, as reported by Metro, Suarez has said that he is staying at Liverpool. Speaking to Spanish newspaper, Marca, Suarez said, ‘When I’m happy away from the pitch, I am happy on it. I’m happy to be in the Premier League as it’s the best competition in the world. I’m happy here and I will stay.”

So there it is – he could not be more clear but I am sure there will still be numerous stories discussing Suarez departing from Merseyside before the transfer window closes.
