Arsenal have been alerted to the availability of RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano. Reports in France claim the centre-back could be sold for just £40m in the January transfer window.
The Gunners are believed to have had a £55m offer rejected for the 21-year-old in the summer, and fans on Twitter are now calling on the club’s hierarchy to table a bid to secure the Frenchman next month:
£40 Million? Sign him up ASAP.

Arsenal will face competition for Upamecano, though, with Tottenham and Manchester City also reportedly interested in the centre-half.
The France Under 21 international is a regular first-team player for RB Leipzig, having made 19 appearances so far this season, but with his contract expiring in 2021, the Bundesliga club could be looking to cash in.
They are said to have already lined up a replacement in Tanguy Kouassi from Paris Saint-Germain, and if the 17-year-old does sign on the dotted line, it could pave the way for Upamecano’s departure in January.
