Sevilla’s Stance On Selling Youssef En Nesyri Revealed As Arsenal Line Up ‘Ideal’ Aubameyang Replacement

Sevilla are expected to “rethink” the sale of Youssef En-Nesyri if he repeats the form he showed in his first season with the La Liga club, according to La Colina de Nervion.

The Spanish news outlet claims that Arsenal are keeping tabs on the Moroccan international who they see as an “ideal” replacement for captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

En-Nesyri scored 24 goals in 52 appearances last campaign and, if the 24-year-old replicates those performances this season, Sevilla are thought to be ready to cash in on the player, knowing they could make a sizeable profit from his sale.

The striker is reportedly very happy to stay in Spain at the moment, and he has started his second year at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in good goalscoring form, having hit the back of the net twice in three league appearances.

Arsenal are not the only Premier League side keeping tabs on En-Nesyri, with West Ham having tried hard to sign him in past transfer windows, and there will likely be fierce competition for the Moroccan if he is made available for transfer by Sevilla in the future.
