Inter Milan are weighing up a move for Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno, according to reports in the Italian media.

The Serie A champions are looking for a replacement for their veteran shot-stopper Samir Handanovic, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Leno, along with Ajax’s Andre Onana, Napoli’s Alex Meret and Cagliari’s Alessio Cragno are all being looked at as potential options, with Handanovic not likely to retain his number one status even if he does sign an extension.

Arsenal are expected to be willing to listen to offers for Leno, with the German international unlikely to sign a new contract. His current deal expires in 2023 and the keeper is thought to be keen on leaving the Emirates.

With Aaron Ramsdale having been snapped up from Sheffield United for an initial £24m, it appears that the Gunners have already bought their replacement for Leno were the 29-year-old to depart.
