Sanogo Placed On Transfer List Next To Campbell

Wenger is looking to clean up the situation at the club and save some money on players who have spent little or no time on the pitch this season. After several rumors said Podolski will leave as soon as he gets an offer and that Campbell is no longer interested in another loan deal, it seems that it is Sanogo’s turn to make a decision. According to Metro, the 21 year old will probably join Bordeaux this January in one of Arsenal’s attempts to make up for the salaries of the new players who will be coming to London. Wenger’s long shopping list will come with some sacrifices, some of which include letting some of his current players leave. To be fair, the attack is the best part of the team right now and not having Podolski, Sanogo and Campbell would not make much of a difference. Despite being excellent players, they have a hard time becoming team regulars when having to face Sanchez, Welbeck, Giroud or any other players who are currently creating opportunities and scoring goals.

Sanogo needs more time on the pitch which he will probably get if he joins the French side. Lorient are also interested in his services and will probably battle it out with their League 1 adversaries. The striker will not say no to a transfer and will more than likely begin his journey at the beginning of the year when the transfer window will be opened.
