Sanchez Insists That He Can Go All The Way

The Gunners struck gold when they signed Sanchez from Barcelona. The Chilean forward who has been Arsenal’s number one man since coming to the Emirates, looks determined to keep up the tempo until the end of the season despite being featured in almost all the games up until now. According to the Daily Star, Sanchez told Wenger that he wants to keep going and that he does not want time to rest. After scoring 18 goals in 30 games the 26 year old was due for a well-deserved vacation. Despite being among the players with the most appearances in the first part of the Premier League competition, and despite being faced with two difficult injuries during his career, the Gunner looks more determined and more energetic than many of his teammates and most of his adversaries.

Even if important matches are on the way and Wenger offered to rest Sanchez, the Chilean has refused and has pushed on through. Sanchez performed as he usually does and helped Wenger win his first big game in 2015 vs Man City on the weekend as the Gunners delivered a surprising 2-0 away win. Sanchez was subbed and looked disheartened but he was taken off to give him a rare break from the action which he clearly deserves even if he doesn’t think he needs it.
