Arsenal currently find themselves in third place in the EPL, now 12 points behind Chelsea after yesterday’s loss and the Gunners are now 3 points behind North London rivals Tottenham who are 9 points behind Chelsea. This begs the question if Arsenal can really do much without their two stars and the answer is probably not.

Despite his form so far this season, Alexis is priced at 11/2 to become the league’s top scorer, behind Costa and Ibrahimovic at 11/4 and Kane at 7/2 which surely seems somewhat harsh given the fact he has scored 1 more than Kane and Zlatan so far. Sergio Aguero who is four behind Sanchez at the moment is also priced at 11/2 which may be leaving quite a bit of room for speculation and may actually make Sanchez to win this prestigious title quite a solid value bet.

Giroud To Step It Up?
The French international certainly knows how to be deadly in front of the goal and his 8 goals so far this season are a respectable number. However, the Gunners fans will be looking for him to step it up going into the final weeks of the season as goals have never been as necessary and with Sanchez scoring more than double that, there is no doubt that the French striker will also be looking to increase his tally.
While Giroud remains far outside of the race for the top goal scorer, he is exactly the support Sanchez needs up front and if Arsenal hope to retain their place in the top 4 and cause trouble for Chelsea and the other teams in the top 6, he will absolutely need to continue his recent high-scoring ways and make things happen in the next few matches and indeed in the season run-in.
