The German international’s future remains up in the air. He has two years left on his contract and he is unlikely to get a new one. However, it seems unlikely that a replacement will arrive soon, following the collapse of the deal for Aaron Ramsdale.
Leno will be determined to prove his worth, though, and he will be keen to put in a good performance against Brentford.
