Sagna Wants To Quit Arsenal!

French international, Bacary Sagna’s contract expires at the end of the season and he has still not agreed terms with Arsenal over an extension to his existing deal. Arsene Wenger wants his first-choice right-back to stay with the club but Sagna has now decided to quit the club.

According to the Daily Star, the 31-year-old is set to exit Emirates Stadium after being offended at the contract offered to him. He reportedly wants weekly wages of £100,000 but Arsenal are willing to offer only £75,000. The website quotes a source to Sagna stating: “He will leave the club 100 per cent – there is no way he will stay.”

“He feels very heartbroken, disgusted and disrespected by the board and the offers they are making, after being so loyal to the club for so many years. Now his focus will be to help his team-mates and the fans by landing the FA Cup and a top four finish.”

The defender would ideally like to stay in England with Chelsea and Manchester City set to be lining up offers to lure the defender away from the Gunners.
