Romano Names The 15M Rated Player That Arsenal May Look To Target After Trossard And Kiwior

Arsenal may turn their attention towards Real Valladolid right-back Ivan Fresneda after sealing the signature of Leandro Trossard, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist claims that the Gunners are likely to target a fullback if Cedric Soares leaves the Emirates and Fresneda appears to be the primary option at the moment:

“Arsenal, keep an eye on the right-back situation. We know that Fulham are interested in Cedric Soares, so let’s see if Arsenal will decide to do something in that position.”

“They appreciate Ivan Fresneda of Valladolid but also many other clubs, including Newcastle, including Juventus, including Wolves. So it’s an open race for talented right-back Fresneda. Let’s see what Arsenal decide to do in that position.”

It is believed Valladolid may consider selling Fresneda for between £10m and £15m this month but, as Romano points out, the teenager is a player in demand, so that price tag could rise.

The Spaniard has only made 13 appearances at senior level but he is clearly a player that is highly rated going by the fact that there is already a scramble for his signature.

An offer for Fresneda may only be tabled once Cedric has sealed his move away from Arsenal. The London club remain in talks with Fulham about a possible loan or permanent deal for the Portuguese international.
