Rival Premier League Star Blown Away By Arsenal Player Whose “So Hungry And Aggressive” On The Pitch

Manchester City and England midfielder Jack Grealish has been lavishing praise on Arsenal’s number nine Gabriel Jesus.

Grealish played alongside the Brazilian for a season at the Etihad and he says that both he and international teammate Bukayo Saka are in awe of what the forward can do both in training and out on the pitch:

“Ask anyone that’s played with him – I know he’s getting more recognition now, but he’s the main man. In training, honestly, he was frightening. I spoke to Saka last month and he was like: ‘Jack, he’s unbelievable’. Jesus’s play is just this mix of proper rawness and skill. He’s a lovely guy, but he’s so hungry and aggressive when he plays.”

Jesus has been a revelation since arriving at the Emirates and tremendous credit has to go to sporting director Edu, who managed to persuade the 25-year-old to snub approaches from the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham.

Of course, a lot of the talk recently has been about the striker’s lack of goals, prompting Brazilian legend Ronaldo to even weigh in on the matter.

However, his overall contribution to the team is so massive that his goal record takes a back seat. As Grealish points out, Jesus’s hunger and aggression make him an example for others to follow. His work rate and desire have been at the heart of what has led to Arsenal topping the table after 14 games.
