REPORT: Serie A Side Reject £55m Offer From Arsenal For 21 Year Old

Roma have turned down a £55m bid from Arsenal for winger Cengiz Under, according to reports in Turkey.

The 21-year-old has reportedly been scouted in recent months, but it seems that the Gunners have stepped up their interest in the Turkish international.

Under is also said to be interesting Bayern Munich, Tottenham, Manchester United and Manchester City, although it appears Roma are keen to keep hold of the player.

The midfielder has certainly impressed for the Giallorossi so far this season, having scored six goals and provided eight assists in 23 matches.

Under was in excellent form for the Serie A side at the weekend, creating the first goal and scoring the second in a 2-0 win over Parma. He also created the third goal for Nicolo Zaniolo during the 3-1 victory over Sassuolo on Boxing Day.

The wide man generally plays from the right flank, but as he is predominantly left-footed, he usually cuts into more central areas. Despite his young age, he already has 17 caps for Turkey at international level, scoring four goals.
