AC Milan are planning an offer for Arsenal winger Willian this summer, according to Calciomercatoweb.it.
The Italian website reports that the Rossoneri will look to the Brazilian international to form part of their “new attack” ahead of next season.
Willian has struggled since arriving from Chelsea but his performances have picked up in recent weeks, providing four assists in five matches before being sidelined with a calf strain.
Considering the winger is 32 and is likely to be on a high wage, the Gunners may well be open to selling him in order to make a profit on a player who they signed on a free transfer back in August.
Manager Mikel Arteta reportedly needs to raise funds for new signings. Reports suggest that Martin Odegaard could cost as much as £50m if they want to secure the Norwegian’s services on a permanent basis after his loan spell ends in June.
