Report Claims Arsenal Have Offered Kieran Tierney In Bid To Sign 24 Cap International Midfielder

Arsenal would be willing to offer Kieran Tierney in part-exchange for Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli, according to TuttoJuve.com.

The website claims that the Gunners are keen to revive their interest in the 25-year-old, who rejected a move to the Emirates in favour of a switch to the Bianconeri just over eighteen months ago.

It should be noted, though, the positions of the two clubs have changed drastically during the intervening period. While Mikel Arteta’s side are sitting top of the Premier League, Juve lie seventh in the Serie A table, following a points deduction due to financial irregularities.

Even so, TuttoJuve report that the Bianconeri are “not interested” in selling Locatelli, who has been capped 24 times by Italy.

When it comes to Tierney, the former Celtic defender is expected to leave Arsenal at the end of the season. If he doesn’t move to Italy, it is believed that Newcastle would be the favourites to secure his signature.
