REPORT: Arsenal Told To Almost DOUBLE Their 35M Offer For 13 Goal Brazilian Star

Manchester City will demand up to €60m (£51m) for Gabriel Jesus this summer, according to UOL Esporte.

The Brazilian website claims that Arsenal are interested in the striker but, while talks are “ongoing”, there is “no agreement” about a transfer fee so far.

Reliable journalist Chris Wheatley has claimed that the Gunners are prepared to pay £35m for Jesus, who is closing in on the final year of his contract at the Etihad Stadium.

However, City’s asking price is close to double that amount, and it appears that the two sides are pretty far apart on their valuation of the player currently, UOL do suggest that the Citizens could lower their demands to €50m (£42.8m), but that hasn’t happened yet.

Jesus, himself, is believed to be prepared to move clubs, as he knows he needs to be playing regularly ahead of the World Cup later this year, so we shall see how negotiations progress in the coming weeks.
