REPORT: Arsenal Star ‘Minded To Push For A Move’ In The January Transfer Window

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is “minded to push for a move” when the transfer window reopens in January, according to ESPN.

The Frenchman’s contract expires next summer and he hasn’t been offered a new deal by the Gunners. Combined with the fact that he has had limited game time this season, it seems he will look to leave at the next possible opportunity.

Lacazette won’t be short of suitors, with Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Sevilla all said to be interested, but it isn’t known whether any of the three teams would be prepared to pay a transfer fee. They could simply wait until the end of the campaign when the forward is available for free.

ESPN suggest a potential swap deal with Sevilla could happen, if they were to offer up Youssef En-Nesyri, but that seems very unlikely considering they can sign Lacazette up to a pre-contract agreement in a few months’ time.
