REPORT: Arsenal Star Is Banking On Arteta Making A BIG Selection Call Against Norwich

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale believes he will start ahead of Bernd Leno in goal against Norwich City next weekend, according to The Sun.

The £24m summer signing has already made his debut during the 6-0 win over West Brom in the Carabao Cup, but he has yet to make his league bow.

Leno conceded five against Manchester City last week and he is expected to leave on a free transfer when his contract expires in June, so manager Mikel Arteta may look to make a change in goal sooner rather than later.

Ramsdale did look good on his debut at the Hawthorns, but there are still concerns about the 23-year-old, after being relegated with both Bournemouth and Sheffield United in the last two years. However, technical director Edu firmly believes the Englishman has a big future ahead of him:

“He is a very good football player and has the potential to be a big part of the team in the future.”

Whether we’ll see Ramsdale in between the posts on Saturday, we shall have to wait and see, but it will be a big call for Arteta to make.
