REPORT: Arsenal Make Second Offer Worth 14.6M For 21 Year Old With Personal Terms Already Agreed

Arsenal have made a second bid worth €17m (£14.6m) for Anderlecht midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga, according to Het Nieuwsblad.

The Belgian newspaper says the offer proposed was €14m (£12m) up front, with another €3m (£2.6m) in performance-related bonuses.

Anderlecht are thought to be holding out for around €20m (£17m), and with both Sevilla and Atalanta also interested in Lokonga, his club are confident that a team will meet their valuation.

If the Gunners can reach an agreement with Anderlecht, though, they should be able to get the deal sewn up pretty quickly as Het Nieuwsblad claim the London club have already agreed personal terms with the midfielder.

Lokonga is a relatively inexperienced player, having only made 78 first-team appearances in his career, but he is a promising young talent, who is already on the verge of getting a senior cap for his country. He is on the standby list for Belgium at the European Championships.
