REPORT: Arsenal Make Enqury For 12.75M Rated Brazilian Marksman With 19 Goals This Season

Arsenal and Shakhtar Donetsk have both enquired about Internacional striker Yuri Alberto, according to Goal Brasil.

The 20-year-old has scored 19 goals in all competitions this season, with technical director Edu seemingly scouring the market in his homeland for an option to strengthen the Gunners’ options upfront.

With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang struggling for goals and, with the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah expected to leave in January or next summer, a new forward is required.

Alberto is believed to be valued at around €15m (£12.75m) which is not a great deal when you look at some of the prices that other forwards are going for in the transfer market.

However, Internacional are very reluctant to let him leave in January and would prefer that he left in the summer transfer window instead. Whether Arsenal would consider waiting around that long to snap up Alberto, we shall have to wait and see.
