REPORT: Arsenal Keen On Talks With Two Potential Emery Replacements

Arsenal are keen on talking to Manchester City coach Mikel Arteta and former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri about taking over at the Emirates, according to the Times.

The newspaper believes the position of the Gunners board has begun to shift due to the club’s poor form, which has seen them win just one league match since September.

Head of Football Operations Raul Sanllehi and technical director Edu were willing to give Emery until the end of the season, but the team’s performances have caused great concern.

There have been other unconfirmed reports that Emery has lost parts of the dressing room with some players losing faith with his methods.

It is claimed that some of the team’s stars have been left confused by the tactics that have been employed, as well as his instructions. The switch to three at the back in the last three games has also not proved successful and it looks like Emery is on borrowed time.
