REPORT: Arsenal Have Made Contact About Signing £53m La Liga Striker On Loan

Arsenal are one of three Premier League clubs who have approached Real Madrid about signing Luka Jovic on loan ahead of next season, according to 90min.com.

The website claims that the La Liga side have made the player available for a temporary switch and that the Gunners, Newcastle and West Ham have all expressed their interest in taking the Serbian international.

Jovic has struggled since making a €60m (£53m) move from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer, having scored just two goals in 24 appearances, and his immediate future appears to be away from the Bernabeu.

90min.com also report that Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton are monitoring the 22-year-old but they have yet to make their interest formal.

Arsenal will probably only make a move for Jovic if either Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette leave the Emirates when the transfer window opens. Both players have been linked with departures from the London club in recent months.
