REPORT: Arsenal Eyeing Deal For Spanish Speedster Who Could Cost Only £30m

Arsenal are weighing up a move for Wolves winger Adama Traore, according to Todofichajes.com. The Spanish website claims that they have been handed information which suggests the Gunners will prioritise a move for the Spaniard this summer.

Traore has been in excellent form, having scored six goals and provided ten assists in 43 appearances, but there had been reports that he would command a fee of around £70m.

However, Todofichajes report that the 24-year-old could cost less than half that amount, with his asking price set around the €35m (£30m) mark.

Whether that is, in fact, true, it is debatable. While the current financial climate means the transfer market will be deflated in the summer, Wolves are not a poor club.

They are owned by a wealthy Chinese conglomerate and are under no pressure to sell their top stars. It is, therefore, wise to take this particular rumour with a large pinch of salt.
