Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka will sign a £300,000 a week (£15.6m a year) contract extension with the Gunners, according to talkSPORT.
The likes of Manchester City and Liverpool have been linked with the 21-year-old over the past year but the player’s intention was always to remain at the Emirates.
Saka has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists in 45 appearances for the Gunners.
His current deal at the London club is set to expire in 2024 but it is believed that his new contract could be formally announced before the end of the season.
In addition to Saka, Arsenal are hoping to tie down at least two other key first-team players. Manager Mikel Arteta has expressed his desire for William Saliba to commit his long-term future to the club. Like Saka, the Frenchman is closing in on the final twelve months of his contract.
The Gunners are also hoping that Aaron Ramsdale will put pen to paper on a new deal very soon.
