Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette was not the only player who struggled in the woeful 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace last night but his performance summed up how poor the Gunners were going forward.
The Frenchman only touched the ball 30 times during the whole game, which was two fewer than goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale and nine fewer than Gabriel Martinelli, who only came on as a second-half substitute.
Supporters on Twitter believe the club desperately need an upgrade on Lacazette if they are to progress as a club:

He should leave the club at the end of the season. He should be playing in French League 4 by now. Gosh

Lacazette’s ineffectiveness in front of goal has been a major bone of contention all season, but his inability to get involved in the match yesterday evening was more of a concern.
The 30-year-old is usually pretty decent in terms of getting involved in build-up play but, despite Arsenal having a lot of the ball, he just didn’t make an impact, which his low number of touches demonstrate.
