Ramsey admits he is unsure over his Arsenal future

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has admitted he is unsure about where his future lies, with him still yet to agree new terms with the Gunners.

Ramsey has entered the final year of his contract at the Emirates this summer, and rumours surrounding his future have intensified.

New manager Unai Emery has already made it clear that he wants the Welshman to remain at the club, and it’s fair to say the midfielder is an integral part of the squad.

The 27-year-old refused to give too much away about his future at the club, but said his agent is currently locked into negotiations over a new deal.

“We’ll see what happens, but my agent and the club are talking,” Ramsey told Sky Sports News.

“I’m not sure exactly what it hinges on, I’m just leaving it to them to discuss and to figure it out but we are yet to come to an agreement.

“That’s something that my agent and the club are discussing to try and get something done.”

Ramsey was then asked how long negotiations may take, and he replied: “I’m not sure exactly. It’s taken a bit of time so far so we will have to wait and see.”

It would be a great loss to Arsenal if they failed to tie down a new deal for Ramsey, so it is vital a deal is struck before the player becomes unsettled.
